Stoichiometric stability constants of the thallium (I) sulphate complex [Tl(SO4)]−have been determined by measurements of the201Tl.Tl(I) ion mobility at 298.1 (1) K in solutions of Na2SO4/Na(H)ClO4, μ = 0.1, pH ≦ 4, and Na2SO4/H2SO4, 0.1 ≦ μ ≦ 0.48, pH 2–2.5. The thermodynamic stability constant of this complex anion of= 15.7(1.0) 1 · mol−1has been calculated on the basis of experimental data.
