Patients with reduced vision are often fitted with low vision optical aids. Such patients may also benefit from one or more non-optical aids such as pin-boles, typoscopes, stenopaic slits, visors, or large print books. Such patients may also benefit by advice regarding such factors of the environment as illumination.
