摘要:

In the Moessbauer spectra of several mica we find asymmetric quadrupole doublets. In the case of perpendicular γ-ray propagation the asymmetry is the greatest, and it vanishes, if the angle between surface normal direction and γ-ray direction is equal to the magic angle (54.7°). In all substances the quadrupole splitting of the Fe2+ions is negative and those of the Fe3+ions positive. The angular dependence of the spectra is in a good agreement with the picture of an axial symmetric EFG-texture distribution.
