摘要:
The coating of microspheres used as laser fusion targets has resulted in the development of a wide range of new technologies [1–4]. Numerous target designs require depositing various materials such as plastics and high and low atomic number metals on glass microballoons (GMB's) which are 100 to 500 pm in diameter and weigh only micrograms. In addition to the handling problems associated with high static charge, small size, and light weight, the uniformity and surface quality requirements of these films are becoming increasingly demanding.
