摘要:
The first scintillation detector was the rectilinear scanner, still a major tool of nuclear medicine. Today many additional applications of scintillation are in use: crystal mosaics, detector combinations, whole body counters, and others. Moreover, devices based on entirely new principles—such as semiconductors and wire and spark chambers—are rapidly winning a place among the wide variety of nuclear instruments.
