SUMMARYThe taxonomy ofDiaporthe cubensis, causal agent of a canker disease ofEucalyptusspp., is discussed in relation to its conspecificity withEndothia havanensisand correct generic affinity. It was concluded that the fungus should be transferred toCryphonectria.
