The intra-ocular pressure was measured on 100 eyes with the Tonomat. That value was compared with the radius of curvature for these eyes and a statistically significant relationship was found. With larger radius of curvature the IOP was found to be greater on the average and vice-versa. Hence it is suggested that corneal curvature be taken into consideration when using this tonometer.
