Seventy elderly persons were surveyed in an attempt to determine the best way to use television for delivery of nutrition information. It was discovered that this audience preferred its television nutrition information in a straightforward, serious format. The utilization of a variety of television programming conventions was examined, as were the respondents' food habits and their level of nutrition knowledge.
