摘要:

A novel cyclic ether, 5,10-epoxymuurolane (1), along with the sesquiterpene isosericenine (2) have been isolated, purified and identified from the organic extract of the gorgonian soft coralGorgonia ventalina. The structure of the new natural product1was proposed on the basis of its spectral data, including 2D NMR experiments.
