摘要:

98 JOURNAL OF ANALYTICAL ATOMIC SPECTROMETRY, APRIL 1986, VOL. 1 UK ICP-MS Users‘ Group At a meeting in London on 11th Decem- ber 1985 it was agreed to set up a UK ICP-MS Users’ Group, and a Chairman was elected. The group exists to enable UK users of any ICP-MS system to meet and exchange experiences and informa- tion. It aims to meet frequently (probably three times per year) and to produce a Newsletter, also probably three times per year to report on Group Meetings, Con- ferences, data, computer programs, tech- nical updates, observations, hints etc. The group is open to UK users of any ICP-MS system, although all the existing installations (ten instruments in nine lab- oratories) are prototype or production VG Isotopes systems. In addition, poten- tial users will be welcome to attend meetings.Information regarding the group, can be obtained from its Chairman: Mr. R. M. Brown, Chemical Analysis Group, Building 551, Harwell Laboratory, Oxfordshire OX11 ORA, UK; telephone 0235-24141, ext. 4187.
