摘要:

What would adhocracy, the organizationul dream of Alvin Toffler and proven method for modern business organizations, look like in a health care facility? Would this organizational structure facilitate appropriate patient care and job satisfaction? Would it satisfy cost concerns? Fuszard proposes adhocracy as an ideal organizational structure for both patients and staff. She examines some barriers to adhocracy and provides insights and guidelines for overcoming them. Adhocracy, as presented here, is a vision toward which strong, powerful, and knowledgeable nursing administrators might work.
