Abstract75% of the isolated strains were Gram negative, asporogenous bacteria. Almost a half of them fermented glucose, which was probably caused by a selectivity of the agar medium for the particular types. The groups tentatively classified as Enterobacteriaceae andAeromonas, prevailed during summer, whereas pseudomonads andAcinetobacterwere more common in winter.
