Emma Weir, Fiona Regan and Antoin Lawlor (left to right)Dr Fiona Regan, a lecturer in Analytical Science at Dublin City University, leads a group of researchers working on the development of materials for the prevention of biofouling. Antoin Lawlor, is a research fellow studying the use of novel antifouling approaches for application to sensors in the field and Emma Weir is a PhD student developing nanoparticle-based materials to prevent biofouling. Dr Aine Whelan worked in the group until early 2007.
